HE ACTUALLY ROLE PLAYS HIS OWN ROLEs oh GOD
Well, when you think about it, acting is actually LARPing…
How fitting.
Except, oh, you know, I’m too lazy to find something. And I hate that I love food.

The Horde (2009)
I haven’t posted anything about zombies in a while, so here you go.
I’m still Queen of the Idiots though. It’s just a matter of time.
I love you
I love you, too! We’ll just see how “Scott Pilgrim”-y this kid decides to be this time.Third time’s a charm, right?
I can’t believe people are still talking about this confession — and yet here I am, commenting on how people are commenting on it.
I guess I should continue this trend and just re-hash people have said a million times over. Ready? Okay!
1.) This is fandom is seriously a very conflicted one. Some of us are super stage version, some of us are super movie version, and some of us can appreciate both. I, personally, belong in the third group. If they had kept everything exactly the same as in the movie, it just wouldn’t have worked, staging-wise. And time-wise. And, well, anything, really. I would also feel like I was simply watching a shadowcast a la Rocky Horror rather than an adaptation. Like the Facts of Life theme song says, “You take the good, you take the bad.” Do with that little nugget of knowledge what you will. Just know that everything is out of our hands, AND Disney is pretty much eating their words in terms of Newsies right now because they’re making a big pile of money off of something they ignored for two decades. Just sit on that fact and appreciate that we, the fans, made that happen instead of complaining about the creative changes.
2.) Whenever we have an argument among these separate groups of fans, someone always chimes in with “the theme of the movie/show is togetherness! if we don’t stick together, we’re nothin’!” If only we could practice this for real and not just while we’re arguing about petty things. As another fine piece of cheesy cinema once said, “DuJour means friendship.”
3.) That’s about it, actually. I just wanted more than two points. Theme of this post is this: we can’t change the way things panned out, so whining isn’t going to get anyone anywhere or suddenly make everyone happy. Also, we’re never going to agree 100% on anything, ever. It hasn’t happened in the 11+ years I’ve been in the fandom, so I don’t expect it to ever happen.
I’m still Queen of the Idiots though. It’s just a matter of time.
